| In the most beautiful and marvelous, visited by tourists part of the Pirin mountain, between the areas of Predel and Todorova glade is situated the oldest national park of Bulgaria. The national park of Pirin has a territory of 40 365 hectares. In the borders of the park there are more than 50 marble and granite peaks at height of more than 2500 meters. Among them the highest is Vihren – 2915 meters. From the rocky peaks to the valleys of the mountains there are more than 35 big and small cirques with more than 180 glacial lakes. |
